WITNESSING HER BROTHER’S CHALLENGES FUELED HER DESIRE TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Yesenia Aspuro is a 25-year-old who’s a first-generation Cuban-American.

She has always dreamed of working in healthcare and has held various positions in the field, including being a certified nursing assistant, licensed practical nurse, and registered behavior therapist.

Her ultimate goal has been to become a physician assistant dedicated to helping those with disabilities, a dream she continues to pursue. Currently, Yesenia holds two bachelor’s degrees: one in biological sciences (pre-med) and one in psychology, with an emphasis on behavior analysis.

Yesenia’s passion for healthcare began in childhood, inspired by her older brother who has cerebral palsy. Witnessing his challenges fueled her desire to make a difference.

With the goal of providing quality care centered around the patient’s needs, Yesenia founded Essential Wellness of South Florida. Today, she leads the agency with a commitment to excellence, ensuring that clients receive exceptional care tailored to their individual needs.
